Experience a holistic path to healing that honors both body and spirit. Stress and trauma leave lasting imprints, not just emotionally, but physically and spiritually. Through Trauma Gates and Inner Healing, we help release what the body holds and restore connection, peace, and hope from the inside out.
Trauma Gates and Inner Healing are two powerful, complementary approaches that often work hand in hand during trauma healing sessions. Trauma Gates focuses on how the body holds and responds to stress, using somatic tools to release tension and restore nervous system balance. Inner Healing addresses the emotional and spiritual roots of trauma, inviting God's presence into the wounded places of the heart.
Every person’s healing journey is unique, and so is the way these approaches are combined. Some sessions may lean more toward physical regulation, while others may focus on spiritual breakthrough. Most often, healing happens through a blend of both—body and spirit working together to bring lasting freedom and wholeness.
Inner Healing is a Spirit-led process that helps uncover and heal emotional wounds, lies we’ve believed, and areas of disconnection from God’s truth. It's about exchanging pain, fear, and shame for peace, identity, and restored relationship with God. By inviting Jesus into these wounded places, we experience healing not just in emotion, but in our sense of wholeness and purpose. Together, the goal is to follow the Lord’s lead toward healing, freedom, and deeper relationship with Him.
Key Principles of the Trauma Gates Approach:
Spirit-Led Healing: Each session invites the Holy Spirit to lead the process, allowing God to reveal the areas He wants to heal.
Exchange of Lies for Truth: Inner Healing helps identify false beliefs we’ve accepted and replaces them with God’s truth about who we are and how He sees us.
Emotional and Spiritual Restoration: This process brings healing to deep emotional pain and restores intimacy with God where there has been fear, shame, or distance.
Personal Encounter with God: The goal is not just insight but transformation—through real encounters with Jesus that lead to lasting peace, freedom, and renewed identity.
The Trauma Gates process is a somatic-based approach to trauma healing that focuses on restoring the body's natural capacity for regulation and resilience. It emphasizes the importance of addressing trauma stored in the body, recognizing that unresolved trauma can manifest as physical symptoms and emotional distress.
Key Principles of the Trauma Gates Approach:
Somatic Awareness: By tuning into bodily sensations, individuals can identify and release tension and trauma held within the body
Nervous System Regulation: Techniques are employed to help recalibrate the nervous system, shifting from states of hyperarousal or shutdown to a balanced state of engagement and safety
Integration of Experience: The process supports individuals in integrating traumatic experiences, allowing for a coherent narrative and fostering a sense of empowerment
Client-Centered Pace: Recognizing that each person's journey is unique, the approach respects individual pacing, ensuring that the healing process is neither rushed nor overwhelming
Trauma Healing Is An Investment
Not everyone is the same but there is a general process common to most everyone, as well as a level of commitment. Somatic focused work usually requires once a week sessions for 10 sessions (you will see why 10 sessions is a good target goal below). We can incorporate the Inner Healing approach throughout these sessions. For Inner Healing ONLY, the aim is 2 times a month with an ongoing mentorship between 6-12 months (breakthroughs need nurturing!)
Safe & Gentle Healing In Person or Telehealth!
The first 3-5 sessions lay the foundation
Sessions 4-6 are often when shifts start to happen
